Sacrificing soldiers for Profit

The first casualty of war is the truth.  It is unclear who said that first but it is attributed to Senator Hiram Warren Johnson.  Regardless of who said it first, the statement is 100% accurate. Ukraine and Russia are at war.  Both sides are lying but western media have decided to print the Ukrainian lies as truth.  That is a shame because the Ukrainian lies are getting Ukrainian citizens killed.

From my perspective a truth that must be told is that Ukraine’s has no military strategy.  Their battle plans come from politicians who do not have victory as an objective.  Everything they have done in the last 2 years has been about fund raising.

Ukraine sends their troops on suicide missions to capture territory that they cannot hold.  The Ukrainian army is able to push Russia back briefly and then Zelenski uses the territorial gain to raise more money.  In the meantime Russia retreats strategically then methodically surrounds the Ukrainian position and shells them into oblivion.  Retreating, regrouping, and counter attacking is how Russia has approached warfare for centuries.

The latest example is the slaughter in Kursk.  Zelenski wanted another propaganda victory.  He sent Troops into Russia to capture an area that really held no significance.  True to form the Russians retreated, methodically surrounded the Ukrainians, and then annihilated them.

“We have all the logistics here on one Sudzha-Sumy highway. And everyone knew that the [Russians] would try to cut it. But this again came as a surprise to our command.”

At the time of writing, just before Russia retook Sudzha, Volodymyr said Ukrainian forces were being pressed from three sides.

The soldier predicted Ukraine’s entire foothold in Kursk would be lost but that “from a military point of view, the Kursk direction has exhausted itself. There is no point in keeping it any more”.

There was no reason to sacrifice these troops beyond a propaganda victory for continued money laundering.  This is why I oppose continued funding for this war.  The Ukraine can’t win and Ukrainian politicians are not even trying to win.  Ukrainian troops are being killed to enrich Ukrainian and western politicians.  This is immoral and must stop.
