It is time for unpalatable peace

I found this article where 3 military analysts discuss the likely outcome of a direct confrontation with Russia.  I did not bother to check what their credentials are, but they all came to the same conclusion I did long ago.  Ukraine cannot defeat Russia, and neither can NATO.

This is an opinion not shared by the decision makers in the west who would be quick to point out that I have zero military experience.  While I have no military experience, I do have a brain and some knowledge of history.  History shows prolonged conflicts are won by the side who can build the most weapons.

To win a protracted war you need 2 things, a strong manufacturing base and a strong military.  The west has neither.  The US did not win World War 2 because they had the best military.  They won because they were able to produce more bullets, bombs, planes, and tanks than the Nazis.  For every one that was destroyed they built 2 more.  Germany’s superior military had no chance.

In the last 20 years our brain-dead politicians have destroyed our industrial base.  We now pay our enemies to manufacture everything for us.  This makes no sense to anyone with a triple digit IQ, but triple digit IQs are almost nonexistent in our capitals.  The deep thinkers in our government believe that our technological advantages will prevail in modern warfare.  Ukraine has demonstrated how laughably stupid our leaders are.

The war in Ukraine has proven that the age of industrial warfare is still here. The massive consumption of equipment, vehicles and ammunition requires a large-scale industrial base for resupply – quantity still has a quality of its own…. The rate of ammunition and equipment consumption in Ukraine can only be sustained by a large-scale industrial base.

The west has emptied their arsenals.  We have sent everything to Ukraine, and it has made no difference.  What the corrupt Ukrainians didn’t sell to our other enemies was easily destroyed by Russia on the battlefield.  A war with Russia was never winnable.  Now that we have no weapons or supplies it would be an embarrassing rout.

So much has been sent to the Ukraine that western militaries are running out.  The US has already announced their stockpiles of artillery shells are almost gone and today Germany announced that they only have enough ammunition to fight for 2 days.  The US is pushing Germany to war and Germany is not prepared for war.

We are being asked to believe that the Russian military is on the verge of collapse when really it is NATO.  The German army can only be counted on for 2 days?  It would not even be worth mobilizing their army.  Vladimir Putin is destroying the military capability of NATO without ever engaging NATO troops.

Our enemies have left us vulnerable.  By enemies I mean our politicians who are still trying to escalate this conflict.  Thankfully our American neighbors have elected Trump.  Trump has vowed to negotiate a peace deal.  Good luck to him.  Unfortunately, peace in this conflict is easy but unpalatable.  I don’t see how you get it now without giving Russia everything it wants.  Russia has no need to negotiate.  The Russians are winning, and NATO has been exposed as a paper tiger.  NATO is not ready to fight, and Putin knows it.

5 days into the war there was a peace deal that would have forced Ukraine to give up very little.  The west convinced Ukraine to fight on and now they are going to lose everything.  Western leaders did this to Ukraine.  They have destroyed a country and not even one of them has any remorse.  Our leaders are not fit to lead.  The only place they belong is in prison.
