COVID isn’t over
COVID was never about a virus, well not one in the traditional biological definition anyway. Nothing that happened during peak COVID had anything to do with a virus, if there even was a virus. That might seem like a strange thing to say but it isn’t. You don’t need a virus to create excess deaths producing the illusion of an emergency. All you need is a tyrannical government and the world is full of those.
Stress kills. We have known that for 1000 years. We also know that fear, unemployment, and isolation are stressful. You can maximize the total stress if you combine those three elements. That, sadly, is exactly what our governments did.
I have written about this before. The most important thing while handling an emergency is to prevent panic. Panic always makes a bad situation worse. That is why we do emergency response drills at work. If everyone knows their job during an emergency, they tend not to panic.
Our governments, despite their inherent stupidity, know this. So why did the government respond to COVID with constant fear mongering, forcing people into unemployment, and isolating the entire population at home? Because it was never about a virus, that’s why. Our governments had objectives that had nothing to do with public health.
The plan required people to die so they made sure people died. Obviously, our governments also doubted the lethality or existence of the virus. But to the government the existence of a deadly virus was secondary to the plan. All they needed was fear and that was easy to manufacture. The hard part was prolonging the fear. Part of that plan involved silencing anyone who questioned the narrative, something the Canadian government continues to do 6 years later.
Pat King was one of the freedom Convoy protesters. He was charged, tried, and sentenced to house arrest, probation, and community service. The last part is ironic because in a way it was community service that ran him afoul of the government in the first place. Our Federal liberal government was of course not happy about their pet judges not reinstating capital punishment for honking a truck horn, so they appealed. A more compliant judge decided Pat King should have been punished more harshly.
“His purpose was to use the pressure that was being exerted against area residents to compel the Government of Canada to abstain from exercising its lawful authority to pursue the COVID-19 policies it considered to be in the public interest, and to instead change these policies to satisfy Mr. King,” the court wrote.
Am I the only one who finds this judgement a little odd? Have you ever heard of a protest that didn’t want to change government policy? Canada has had other protests that have inconvenienced the public and caused far more damage than the freedom convoy. We even had a protest that resulted in a police officer being assassinated yet none of those protesters were subject to 4 years of lawfare. Most of them were not even charged including the protester that killed the police officer.
The persecution of the freedom convoy is not about the protest. It is about protecting the narrative. COVID is not over because it was never about a virus. Covid was simply our government seizing an opportunity to reduce our rights and steal tax money. Pat King and the other Freedom Convoy organizers are being persecuted so that no one will question the government when they do it again. And they will do it again; if we let them.
The real virus is government.
