Inquiries in the land of blissful ignorance
Canadian member of parliament (MP) Dean Allison is holding an inquiry into COVID vaccine injuries. It is not an official government inquiry because as a back bench opposition MP in a parliamentary system MP Allison has no real authority. His role is to be a trained seal. He is to raise his hand when the party whip tells him to raise his hand. Other than that, he is to be seen and not heard.
Not being heard is a good way to describe the inquiry so far. At last count only 3 other MPs have bothered to attend. That means 99% of Parliament is not interested in acknowledging the harm that they caused. The same goes for the media. Only small independent media have bothered to attend. Canada’s public broadcaster, the CBC, has an office across the street yet not a single employee was curious enough to stroll over and listen for a few minutes.
If this was an official inquiry it would have been much different. MPs would show up En masse to smile for CBC cameras as they listened to an overpaid liberal party insider explain that the government has done nothing wrong. So, the result would be the same. Nothing would happen but at least in this case not every damn witness read off a script. In this case people were allowed to tell their stories. Or others told stories for people whose lives ended because of the jabs.
The hearing kicked off with over three hours of testimony from U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who provided context on COVID-19 injuries.
At today’s hearing, Johnson told the story of a Canadian mother injured by the COVID-19 vaccine who was “so despondent” that she ended her life via Canada’s medical assistance in dying (MAID) program.
The mother’s suicide is far from an isolated case, Johnson said.
In summer 2021, suicide rates among members of React19 — a nonprofit formed to support those injured by COVID-19 vaccine — increased after Facebook shut down their online support groups.
Among those discussed was Scott Gorry, who worked in Calkins’ office for nearly a decade. Gorry died July 4 at the age of 48.
“Scott worked for me for almost a decade,” said Calkins. “I don’t have any expert knowledge that I can impart here other than just to say he was a great friend.”
Blacklock’s Reporter said Gorry was diagnosed with myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle, after receiving a COVID vaccine while Parliament’s vaccination mandate was in effect.
His sister, Barrie, Ont., physician Dr. Crystal Luchkiw, told MPs Gorry received the vaccine because it was required for him to continue working.
“He needed to get the vaccine to maintain his employment,” said Luchkiw.
“He ended up in hospital multiple times.”
After an uneventful first shot against the COVID virus, Leidl received a second dose of vaccine on June 10, 2021, just days before she was planning to head off to Vienna for a new job she couldn’t wait to start.
But seven days after that second vaccine, the Salt Spring Island, B.C. resident woke up in pain. Leidl got up and then collapsed. In the ensuing five years, Leidl told the Allison Inquiry into the effects of the COVID vaccines on Thursday, she hasn’t stopped suffering. Her list of conditions and symptoms is lengthy, many of which she says suggest neurological damage and chronic inflammation.
What happened was criminal. It was assault and in some cases manslaughter. People need to be sent to prison; a lot of people. But it won’t happen. I applaud MP Allison’s efforts and his intent. Unfortunately, he has chosen an impossible task. How do you expose truth in a country that doesn’t want it? Canadians are not just ignorant; they are willfully ignorant. That is why Canadian politicians get away with so many terrible things.
