They Lied for a Reason

When COVID restrictions were first announced my immediate reaction was that this was just stupid people doing stupid things out of fear.  The restrictions were so ridiculous that I was certain that it would not take long for people to come to their senses.  I was wrong about both.  The restrictions were not stupid they were intentional and the public never did come to their senses.

After a few weeks it was plain to me the government had ulterior motives.  They justified nonsensical restrictions with the excuse that the virus was new and we could take no chances.  This was largely a lie because coronaviruses and airborne respiratory virus were not new.  We had enough information and knowledge to know that what we were doing would not work.  In fact in the early days of the “pandemic” we even had rational discussions on national broadcasts.

 

 

Clearly we knew enough in the spring of 2020 to know that COVID was not an emergency.  People in Government had to have known this, so it is impossible to conclude that they were not lying.  They were lying about everything.

 

Despite government’s unblemished track record for lying, some people are still reluctant to believe government was lying about COVID.  They just can’t see how incredibly beneficial lockdowns were to government.  Lockdowns gave government many very valuable things. With lockdowns government successfully;

  1. Set a precedent that government could suspend human rights indefinitely by declaring an emergency without any need for proving we had an emergency.
  2. Established that people would accept a caste system where government could selectively grant rights to some while denying them to others. What caste you are placed in depends on your level of government compliance.
  3. Conditioned people to carry proof of government compliance (vaccine passports).
  4. Transferred wealth from ordinary people to the elite.

Lockdowns were the most successful government program in history.  We voluntarily allowed government to imprison and impoverish us.  Do you really think we would be dealing with 15 minute cities now if we had stood up in 2020 and said no?

They lied, and lied, and lied; none of this happened by accident.  Government got exactly what they wanted and they will do it again unless they are punished.  We need to start locking people up and not people who don’t wear masks or choose to go to church.  Every politician and bureaucrat that had a hand in this lie needs to face prison time.
