A hierarchy of investigative powers.

The show trial portion of the coverup is over.  Ottawa detective Helen Grus has been demoted for 2 years.  This could mean that her persecution will end in 2 years, or it could mean she will continue to be politically persecuted by a police administration that abandoned “serve and protect” long ago.

A veteran detective with the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is being demoted for two years for discreditable conduct after a disciplinary tribunal found her guilty of invading the privacy of families by inappropriately accessing the files of dead children and asking one parent about a mother’s vaccination status. 

I have discussed detective Grus before.  She noticed an unusual uptick of infant mortality after the COVID vaccine roll out.  In a pre-COVID jab world investigating unexplained deaths was something that the police did.  Unfortunately for Detective Grus she missed the memo explaining that murder investigations are service that the Ottawa police no longer provide.

Detective Grus foolishly opened an investigation that could have embarrassed the government.  She might have been forgiven for that transgression.  I mean anyone can miss a memo explaining that the Ottawa police are no longer actively involved in policing.  But she did something way worse.  She asked about the vaccination status of the mothers.  In a post COVID world police must never ask vaccination status while investigating murders.  That kind of power is reserved for 18-year-old hostesses investigate whether you should be served lunch.
