I thought Tulsi Gabbard had already resigned but she issued this press release recently.

I found the press release in a link on Jo Nova’s website where she had this to say.

Jo Nova and I share the same view about the nature of government. At its core it is evil. That is not to say that everyone involved in government is evil. The overwhelming majority of them are just stupid. When asked once to describe government my answer was government is a handful of sociopaths sprinkled among an army of useful idiots. Sociopaths can count on the useful idiots to help with any terrible thing they want done.
Government is a necessary evil, but it is evil. We should be very careful about what we allow our governments to do. For instance, it might not be a good idea to allow an organization full of sociopaths with no regard for human life to run hospitals.
Over 300 people died every week while waiting for treatment in British emergency rooms in 2025, where deadly overcrowding in hospitals is said to have been normalised, with half a million people forced to wait over 24 hours in a year.
I am certain that there are ways for taxpayers to share the burden of medical costs without allowing the government to run the hospitals. Medical vouchers and personal health spending accounts immediately come to mind. The problem with either of those solutions is not that they wouldn’t work it is that both would require effort on the part of the individual but modern societies are full of inherently lazy people.
The worst way to provide any service is to allow the government to do it but it is the easiest way. It requires no thought or effort by individual, so we choose to let government do it even when the results are poor. Our societies are collapsing under the weight of our own sloth.
We have allowed governments to intrude into everything because it was easier than being responsible for our own lives. Then when inevitably governments propose very evil things we don’t just ignore it. We marginalize anyone who dare upset our willful blindness with the truth. Truth tellers become conspiracy theorists. Remember when the great reset was a conspiracy theory even though it was published in a book that is gifted to every senior politician in the world? I mean seriously who could believe the government would ban travel, fossil fuels, and meat.
A ban on public advertisements for meat, flying vacations, gas contracts, and fossil-fuel-powered cars officially began in Amsterdam on May 1, but the city will not enforce it or issue fines until 2027, Het Parool reports.
The answer to that question would be “only people who pay attention”. We have become so lazy that we are now just spectators watching the political elite re-establish feudalism because it is too much effort to pull the reigns back on government. In Canada they are getting ready to take the next step of the reset by disarming the public. The reasoning is that people in rural areas are “probably” using guns for crime.
“You’re probably seeing a lot of incidents where these guns are being used in rural areas, particularly, and a lot of those guns … they’re not handguns flowing into Toronto across the border, they’re long guns that are owned by large swaths of people in rural parts of Canada.”
I can’t even believe that statement was used by a Major Canadian media company. Media in Canada has long been a lap dog of government. They are just more useful idiots employed by the sociopaths in charge, but they aren’t even trying anymore. CTV thinks hard news is something that is “probably” happening.
At any given time in the world many things are probably happening but there is one thing that is certainly happening. Western governments are eroding freedom for their own selfish ends, and we are just too damn lazy to care.
