Suicide is a choice, even when nations do it

Mark Carney is a moron.  His supporters will scoff at that statement while they point to his PHD but having credentials does not make you smart.  The world is full of deluded morons like Carney with advanced degrees.  And, make no mistake about it, Carney is just another garden variety Liberal moron.

One common trait shared by all liberal morons is that they believe reality can be bent to their will.  That is Mark Carney in a nut shell.  Carney believes that he can turn Canada into an economic and energy superpower as he shuts down the oil industry.

Carney wasn’t elected to explicitly deconstruct the hydrocarbon industry — and with it, much of Alberta’s economy. Yet, that would be the consequence if his government materially advances its net zero agenda.

Carney believes he can run an economy without energy not because it is possible but because he has issued policy statements saying it can be done.  It is up to the universe now to cooperate and bend to his will.

Canada is not in trouble because it lacks talent or potential. It is in trouble because it has leadership that confuses press releases with policy and optics with outcomes.

As I said Mark Carney is a moron.  Canada has a habit of electing morons.  Electing morons has now become the norm in the western world.  They all believe net zero will make their countries powerful even when it leaves the country without energy.

More than 10,000 Dutch businesses—as well as hospitals, fire stations, and thousands of new houses—are waiting for electricity network connections, and in some cases will have to continue waiting until the mid-2030s.

I can’t help but ask; how effing stupid are we?  The same morons want to go to war with Russia and they can’t even keep the lights on at home.  Do you think Putin is afraid?

The west is committing suicide in slow motion.  There were elections and we voted for these morons.  We chose this but we can choose a different path.  All we need to do is stop voting the village idiot. In the next election don’t vote for the ideological dreamer who promises to transform the country or the economy.  Try voting for the guy who just wants to keep the lights on.
