Time to remove the self-identified Demigods

A few weeks ago, I discussed the new provisions of British Columbia’s health care law that were to come into effect April 1^st.  I admitted that I had not read the whole document, I only highlighted a couple of very concerning clauses that eliminated informed consent.  This morning I found this video.  I do not know who this woman is, but she obviously spent way more time reading the document than I did.

So, BC’s version of Dr. Mengele, Dr. Bonnie Henry, has not just decided to control what doctors are allowed to say and eliminate informed consent.  She has also decided that medicine should no longer be a profession.  Professional is a word used a lot.  Most people don’t realize that it has a legal definition and a legal designation.  In a legal context Professional Engineers are Professionals, professional hockey player are not professionals.  There is a reason for this.

This will come as a surprise to people under 40 but there was a time when governments were not entirely composed of sociopaths concerned with only their own personal fortunes.  At one time there were at least some people in government genuinely concerned about finding the best way to govern for the benefit of all.  One of the problems they dealt with was how do you tell when a doctor or an engineer has done something wrong?  They realized the average person does not have the training to make that judgment.  Their solution was professional associations.  To practice Engineering or Medicine you must be part of a professional organization that would regulate your activities.  A jury of your peers so to speak.

Those days are over in the Province of British Columbia.  It is the government that will sit in Judgment of Doctors.  This is insane but it is the reality of modern governments that believe they are all knowing.  Why let a panel of doctors regulate other doctors when a single bureaucrat knows more than all the doctors on earth combined?  The hubris of modern government is off the charts.

The problem with modern governments is that politicians and bureaucrats like Bonnie Henry believe they are demigods.  They believe they have both divine knowledge and a divine right to rule.  They do not believe the public has a right to question them.  We are just to shut up and obey.

But we need to do far more than just question these megalomaniacs.  We need to get them out of office and build a structure that never again allows the government to be captured by sociopaths.  It is that or you can let some delusional bureaucrat decide how to treat you when you are sick.  You decide but you better hurry because these delusional bureaucrats are quickly removing your right to choose.
