Canada works for politicians, that is why it doesn’t work for taxpayers

Several months ago, Donald Trump quipped to the previous 24 Sussex moron (not to be confused with the current 24 Sussex moron that just folded to Trump after months of false Bravado) that Canada should become the 51st state.  This off hand insult to the worst Prime Minister in our history set off a wave of Trump Derangement Syndrome in Canada.

The elbows up crowd were convinced Donald trump wanted to take over Canada. I never believed that because I can do things the elbows up crowd cannot.  I can think and understand the implications of events.  There is no way Donald Trump would want Canada.  Why would you want a gigantic perpetually democrat state full of politicians that make AOC look like an economic genius?

The reality is no one wants Canada.  Canada is a lost cause with problems too large to fix.  Trump’s quip however did start some very interest conversations and it was not long before some Americans noticed that parts of Canada might be worth acquiring.  Western Canada, except for the immediate Vancouver area, is almost sane and full of natural resources.  It is attractive enough to catch the attention of a US state senator.

Maine State Senator Joseph Martin suggested that British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba should become “full American states,” arguing that those who truly want “freedom” must look south of the 49th.

Senator martin even went so far as to spell out under what conditions the US would accept Western Canada as the 51st state.  So, an offhand insult to the village idiot has now morphed into an offer.  An offer that was rejected by Canadian politicians of all stripes.

Politicians past and present from across Canada have responded to an invitation to be “adopted” by the United States with a resounding “no.”

This is one of the problems in Canada that is seemingly impossible to fix.  No one bothered to ask Canadian taxpayer what they think about the offer.  Had they asked they might have been very surprised by the answer.  Canada is a country that works well for politicians, government employees, and fake refugees abusing the hospitality of Canadians.  It does not work well for taxpayers.  I would think that many taxpayers would be anxious to leave a country that uses immigration policy to keep their children poor and unemployed.

Young people have borne the brunt of the recent deterioration in Canada’s labour market. Youth unemployment usually runs at about twice the rate for adults

The likely cause of this crisis? Government programs that have raised the minimum wage and sharply increased the supply of low-skilled foreign workers.

Or a country where you can be fined and lose your job for liking the wrong bestselling author.

A disciplinary panel has suspended a British Columbia nurse for one month and ordered her to pay over $93,000 in costs related to her public statements about women’s rights and single sex spaces.

The case comes partly from a 2020 Vancouver billboard.

Hamm co-sponsored the billboard, which read, “I ♥ JK Rowling.”

There is not one single thing in Canada worth preserving.  Canada is a country where it is a criminal offence to public state the wrong opinion or to defend yourself against armed home invaders.

A man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted an intruder inside his Lindsay home early Monday morning, police say.

The incident happened at an apartment on Kent Street shortly after 3 a.m.

Police say that the suspect was asleep when he awoke to find an intruder inside his apartment.

Investigators say an altercation ensued and the intruder sustained serious life-threatening injuries as a result.

By law in Canada, you must be a victim.  This isn’t just because Canadian politicians are corrupt to the core and find it easier to cooperate with criminals than prosecute them.  It is because the game is rigged against Canadians.  The very first section of the Canadian charter of rights explains that Politicians and courts are not obligated to respect human rights.

Section 1 of the Charter empowers judges to uphold laws and government policies that clearly and obviously violate our freedoms of association, expression, conscience, religion, and peaceful assembly; our right to life, liberty, and security of the person; and many other Charter rights and freedoms. Since 1982, courts have approved of numerous federal and provincial laws that violated citizens’ freedoms. This became more pronounced after 2020, when judges upheld lockdowns and vaccine passports even while governments admitted in court that these policies did violate Charter rights and freedoms.

Senator Martin offered western Canadians the opportunity to join a country that despite its problems, would still improve conditions for Canadians. Canadian politicians rejected this offer because it does not give them better conditions.  Politicians have no incentive to change a system that benefits them.  Canadian taxpayers better wake up and grab the wheel.  Good offers don’t come along often.
